- The model is built the way the house is built, layer by layer. Materials are counted off it rather than approximated, so the quantities are the real ones.
- You see it before it exists
- The same model lets you walk the building at scale. Volume, ceiling height, the view from where you will actually stand. Drawings ask you to imagine; the model does not.
- Every stage, modelled first
- Because it is a model rather than a drawing set, a change to the design is a change to the quantities and therefore to the number, immediately.
